1940s Ivory Bridal Set

Vintage Ivory wedding dress and jacket set from the late 1940s. There is a structured bodice with boning, lace overlay, and sweetheart neckline. The dress has a basque waistline with piping that flows into a voluminous skirt. There are two layers of tulle with a lining underneath. The dress is complete with a matching lace collared jacket.

This dress is in good vintage condition with a few minor signs of wear to mention. There are a couple of small tears in the tulle by the hem, but these are hardly noticed unless you stretch the material out for inspection. The jacket also has some small holes in the lace. This is very common in lace that is 80+ years old, especially close to the sleeves wear the arms move and cause minor tears. I aim to provide a thorough description of the garments condition, but please note all items are vintage and might have minor signs of wear due to its age.
