1959 Miss Alabama Bride

$1,495.00

Vintage wedding dress from 1959 that was custom made for Miss Alabama. Patricia Huddleston wore the state crown as Miss Alabama in 1955 and was well known for her singing and modeling career. She met her husband who was a WWII hero and then became a politician. The wedding took place in December of 1959 in Clanton, AL and the couple had a wonderful marriage of 52 years. The original photos of the couple are included for reference.

The dress is extremely well made and the fabric has a great structure. There is a fitted bodice that buttons up the back with covered buttons. The waistline is adorned with a bow then the skirt flares out in volume and has a small train. The simple sleeves come to a point at the wrist for a touch of elegance. The dress is made of a woven brocade. There is no contents label, but it's seems to be a satin blend fabric.

This dress is in good condition with no major flaws. Please note all items are vintage and might have minor signs of wear due to its age.
The dress has been cleaned and has a few faint spots hidden in the fabric, please refer to images.
