1950s Floral Dream

This dress was featured in our fashion show fundraiser and 100% of its profits will be donated to the Emmanuel Home of Protection in Nicaragua. This is a safe home for young girls who have been abused and impregnated usually by family members. The home provides a safe environment for the girls to grow and heal from the traumas they've experienced.

Incredible vintage wedding dress by the designer Alfred Angelo. There is a beautiful sweetheart neckline with lace detailing. The bodice connects to a piped basque waist that flows into a voluminous skirt with a sewn in crinoline. A row of covered buttons hide the zipper in the back. A small train flows behind the dress. Please note the dress is photographed with a crinoline underneath for additional volume.

We have sourced high quality silk florals and meticulously hand sewn each one onto the gown for a unique design on the back of the dress. Please view the close up photos to see the stitching details. Please contact us if you're interested in purchasing this dress and would like more flowers added.

The dress is in great vintage condition with a few signs of wear to mention. The dress originally had sleeves, but the fabric was torn in many places, so we removed them. There are some small marks on the skirt but they are unnoticeable as there is so much fabric they get lost.
